Fund Raising Projects

Proceeds from out fund raising events are directed to our general fund, from which funds for regular and unplanned projects are disbursed.

It is a principle of all Lions clubs not to use charity donations for club expenses.

Youth Deer Hunt and Raffle

We have an annual raffle to raise funds and provide a youth deer hunt for kids that would normally not get to hunt or learn gun safety. The raffle precedes deer season.

Tickets are generally available for a $5 donation.

Hamburger Lunch

Hamilton Lions cook at an annual fund raiser, usually picnic style on the courthouse square. We usually have it in May.

Broom and Mop Sale

Every other year we directly support blind workers with a broom and mop sale, held on the courthouse square in downtown Hamilton.

Local Lions Club members sell brooms, mops, brushes, quality cleaning aids, and many other items for home, business and industry.

VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS

Members often make contributions as projects occur. Non-members are invited to do this also.

Hamilton is a special place where those who make up the community care about one another. If you would like to support the Hamilton Lions Club and our work, we welcome your help.

• Come visit one of our upcoming projects, or a dinner meeting, and consider becoming a member of our Club
• Donate used eyeglasses or hearing aids to be reconditioned and reused by those less fortunate
• Make a tax deductible contribution in support of our work
